This Friday, October 29th, unexpected radiation raises the dead, and a microcosm of Average America has to battle flesh-eating zombies inGeorge A. Romero’s 1968 landmark cheapie horror film, Night of the Living Dead. Romero’s grainy black-and-white cinematography and casting of locals emphasize the terror lurking in ordinary life. Nothing holds the key to salvation, whether it’s family, love, or law.
